The Christian life can be like a winding path marked by seasons of doubt, despair, and worry. We examine Jesus' own words on the foolishness of worry as recounted in Matthew 6:25-34. Also, we return to Peter’s first letter, written to dispersed believers which encouraged his readers to stand firm in God’s grace. In this message, we examine the concluding verses of Chapter 5, acknowledging that while believers will most certainly experience suffering in this life, it is God Himself who promises to meet us in our need, restore our brokenness, supply peace instead of worry, and keep us safe and secure in Him.
