In Ephesians 2, Paul reminded his readers of who they once were, what God has done, and what follows from it. Paul explains that from God’s initiating work to the believer’s response, salvation hinges upon the phrase, “In Christ Jesus.” When we entered into this vital relationship with Christ, our identity was hidden in Him, and now we rest in His complete security, and our hearts and minds are directed by His love.
