The Stricken Shepherd and Scattered Sheep

When the first Lord's Supper was instituted by Christ, it came with "a promise" and "a prediction". The promise pertained to being reunited in His glorious millennial Kingdom. The prediction addressed the striking of "The Shepherd" and the defection of "The Sheep."
